What a fun and different winter hat. This pretty espresso brown wool felt hat is hand blocked over vintage wooden hat blocks and hand sewn. The brim is narrow in the back and wider on the sides and front. This hat perches on the head rather than being worn down on the forehead. The band is a gorgeous vintage trim with tiny knots and is finished with a vintage velvet flower. What a classic vintage look!

FIT AND SIZE:
Head size: 21 1/2 to 22 inches. Inner grosgrain ribbon headband.
Brim width 1 1/2 inches in the back and 4 3/8 inches in the front/sides.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER:
I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
